Nestled in the heart of Chiado, Lisbon, halfway between Largo Camões and Largo do Carmo (squares) — the former honoring Portugal’s national poet, the latter known as the place where, in April 1974, a military coup became a full-blown revolution — Icon is an art shop and gallery whose vision, mission and tastes are very much in line with ours.
From designer ceramics to textiles, jewelry, paintings, prints, and scientific illustrations, Icon is bound to have something that will pique your interest.
They work, directly and exclusively, with independent artists and artisans, and are deeply familiar with the comings and goings of Portugal’s art scene(s).
